Requirements for Armed/Unarmed Law Enforcement:
- Must be an active certified Illinois Police Officer or Law Enforcement Officer, in good standing with employed Department(s)
- Must be able to provide (VE-PEC) verification of employment as Peace Officer documentation from employed Department(s)
- Must have ability to maintain composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
- Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone).
- Willing to download apps for tracking purposes to clock in and out of assignments e.g. ADP/Paycor etc.
- Must have reliable transportation
Physical requirements:
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Must be physically capable of lifting, pushing/ or pulling at least 50lbs.
- Accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facilities.
Retired Off Duty or Unarmed Security
- Retired certified Illinois Police Officer or Law Enforcement Officer for over (1) year
- Required: Permanent Employee Registration Card (PER Card)
- Required: 20hr Security Training Certificate
- Required: 20hr Armed Training Certificate or IROCC
- Required: FOID Card
- Valid Illinois Driver's License
